This is absolutely worth watching, even if you don’t watch Glee. The emotions are so raw, and this is so relevant to what’s happening more and more every day. :(
The things we say and do affect other people. There are obvious things like what’s in the video, and even trivial little things that people latch onto for whatever random reason.
Be kind with everyone you meet as everyone is fighting some sort of personal battle. Don’t be a negative influence on another person’s life. Even if you don’t pull the trigger, cinch the rope, uncap the pills, etc., your negative actions will only leave you with scars.
Next time you even consider charging at someone with negativity, think about the people you love most, and how you might feel if someone else’s hateful words were the reason for that person not wanting to live anymore. Consider that you have people who would mourn your loss. Even if you cannot fathom it, others also have such connections. So, don’t be the cause of another person’s heartbreak.
Positive actions have a residual energy, so its beneficial to focus on that.
Be a force of positivity for yourself and for others, be supportive to those who need support, and stand up for those who can’t. Most of all, never be the reason for someone else’s pain. If we can’t relish in camaraderie while we fumble about this mortal coil, then what do we really have at all?
